Registered Adult Care Home Operator Course – Hybrid Format

Exam Date: Tuesday, February 24, 2026 (in person)

This hybrid course is designed to fully prepare you to earn your Registration as an Adult Care Home Operator in the state of Kansas. Based on the principles of assisted living as outlined in the KDADS regulation manual, the course is taught by experienced professionals currently working in the field.

The course is co-facilitated by Joan Hudson, KCAL Clinical Consultant, and Polly Berkley, VP of Operations and Education for KHCA/KCAL. It provides essential knowledge on the rules, regulations, and responsibilities required to operate a state-licensed adult care home in Kansas.

Course Fee Includes:

• A minimum of 45 hours of instruction

• Electronic handout materials (printable, if desired)

• A printed Operator’s Manual mailed to the address provided at registration

Note: The KDADS registration fee is not included in the course fee. This pro-rated fee will not exceed $65.
