MDS Part I Workshop - This is perfect for new MDS Nurses, new Administrators and AIT's to increase their knowledge on how the federally mandated resident assessment tool determines reimbursement and monitors national quality of care. This two day in person MDS Basic Part I Workshop is designed for new MDS Coordinators and interdisciplinary team members who are looking to strengthen their knowledge, confidence and competence in the MDS process. MDS Part II Workshop - Virtual - This two-day MDS Basic Part II workshop is designed for MDS Coordinators with at least six weeks of experience who are ready to build on their foundational knowledge. Participants will deepen their understanding of MDS coding and explore how accurate coding impacts quality measures, reimbursement and resident outcomes. Topics covered:
